Katrell Mendenhall is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland who has also lived in Los Angeles and Chicago.  Ms. Mendenhall worked as an international runway model and graced the pages of many major magazines.  Her career as a model led her to another passion: professional makeup artistry, which she is now co-owner of KMMK BEAUTY the #1 Mobile Spa Service in Chicago.  She maintains ties to the modeling world as an Image Development/Modeling Coach & Makeup Techniques instructor for a leading Modeling agency.  She also has success stories such as 100% Woman, a non-profit organization for adolescent girls.  Mendenhall also covers entertainment as blogger for NBC 5 Chicago Street Team.
In addition to these talents, Katrell graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and has continued to work as a writer and on-camera reporter for the past 4 years.
